Elizabeth D. Warner, M.D.

Elizabeth practiced obstetrics and gynecology at Rochester Gynecologic and Obstetric Associates, P.C. from 1983 until 2013 when she retired from private practice. For the last 25 years of her practice she was the Managing Physician of this single specialty group which consisted of 8 to 11 physicians, 1 to 3 nurse practitioners or nurse midwives and up to 75 employees covering 3 offices and ancillary services of ultrasound, bone density testing, and prenatal classes.

Elizabeth served on the boards of a large independent practice association and a hospital physician association, and she was president of the Rochester Academy of Medicine. The business of medicine and patient education has always been of particular interest for Elizabeth. During her 30 years of practice, she always held teaching positions at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and is currently Clinical Professor Emeritus of Obstetrics and Gynecology where she enjoys teaching medical students.

For the last fifteen years of her practice she had a particular interest in menopausal medicine. She is currently an active medical editor of periFACTS®, an online continuing education program for OB/GYN physicians and nurses. Elizabeth is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and a member of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), The American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP), the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS).

Elizabeth currently lives in Pittsford, New York with her retired corporate attorney husband, Phil. She has identical twin sons who are both married and pursuing PhD’s in the arts. Her hobbies include travel, reading and embroidery.
