We regretfully announce the passing of Dr. Robert Genco, a champion for Excell Partners and an advocate for entrepreneurship. Bob served as an Excell board member for 12 years, in line with his active support of seed stage companies in Upstate New York.
A leading periodontal researcher, Bob founded the Upstate Venture Association and UNYTECH, a venture forum. He helped lobby for legislation to create the first seed fund in New York State.
Bob was a good friend and we will miss his wise counsel. His family is in our thoughts and prayers at this time; we send them our deepest condolences.
