Transform New York's campus research into economic growth
Ithaca, NY - There is a huge, untapped resource in New York that could help fuel a more diversified economy and power the Empire State to the national leadership role it once enjoyed: it is the too-often underutilized wealth of innovation and discovery on our college and university campuses. Gov. Andrew Cuomo recognized this resource in his first State of the State message. Now, how do we get the job done?
As New Yorkers, we need to create an "innovation ecosystem" to improve the state's economic environment, which our new governor has labeled as "hostile" to business. The higher education and business communities
