Isolation Sciences, LLC was formed in 2006, when Dr. Charles Akers, a research scientist, and Ted Arts, an engineer and manufacturer, They developed a vision to address the problems of rapid and continuous access to the field of containment. Following years of development and research, the partners launched the Fume Hood CAP in 2012 with their channel partner – Siemens and have grown additional channels partners: Pharmaceutical Containment Technologies (US) and Airex co. Ltd (Japan). With ever increasing numbers of installations across the United States, and even world-wide, Isolation Sciences is committed to changing the way we think about fume hood operations for a greener and safer laboratory.
